Hello! It’s an honor to be part of the Cayuse Prairie community! I am a Colorado native, but my husband, Ryan, grew up in Kalispell. I fell in love with the Flathead Valley the first time he brought me here in college. After years of dreaming about moving our family to the valley, we relocated from Colorado in 2022. We absolutely love living here! 

I have my undergraduate degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and my Master of Education from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. I began teaching in the mid 2000s, took a break to be home with my boys, and then returned to teaching in 2019. I have taught second grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. I am passionate about honoring my students as individuals and empowering them to own their learning and their learning process. 

I truly believe that teaching is the best job in the world and I feel blessed to spend my days doing something that I love. When I’m not at school, you’ll find me getting outside with my husband, our boys Liam (15) and Owen (12), and our three miniature dachshunds - Lucy, Fergus, and Enzo.
