Hello! I am excited to be returning as part of the Cayuse Prairie community this year and am looking forward to another great year ahead! My goals as the School Counselor continue to be to build personal connections while serving as an advocate and resource for students, staff, and parents in the school community as a whole.
I am a native Montanan and was born and raised in the beautiful Flathead Valley near Flathead Lake. I
attended Montana State University in Bozeman after graduating high school where I earned a Bachelor
of Science degree in Psychology, and later completed my Master of Education degree in Educational
Psychology for school counseling at the University of Washington.
I have worked with children and students in a variety of settings and roles during my career in
education, and I remain committed to helping students learn ways to develop safe and healthy
strategies for success. I strongly believe we are all life-long learners who should continue to seek out
new opportunities for growth and learning every day.
I have lived in several places since moving away from Montana after college including Chicago, Seattle,
and San Diego, but am thankful to be back in my home state. I enjoy spending time
outdoors hiking and exploring in nature, traveling, and reading while sharing adventures and making
memories along the way with friends and family, especially my children.
